Newbie Question About Fuel Pump

Is it worth it to have and upgraded Fuel Pump if your Car is below 300whp? Im trying to decide if im going to swap pump now or swap pump later when i get enough funds for a rebuild engine.

It would help if you included what model/year you have. Otherwise the answer is "it depends." Then post this question in the appropriate forum section for your model. Unless you have a normally aspirated engine, then the answer is No.

I'll still using the stock fuel pump, and I'm over 300 whp, so it's not "needed".
If you do decide you want to, look into the Deatschwerks, high flow replacement, 9 times out of 10 you don't need more pressure, just more flow.

OJ Mini has a 13 year old car. While a new OEM pump (Siemens VDO) will support 300hp, my 2005 was having fueling problems getting above 230hp level with the original pump. I replaced both pump and filter (one in each tank), and they looked filthy, even though I had been running name-brand TopTier fuel. Replacing both yielded positive results.
Some of the aftermarket brands (other than BMW-MINI or VDO) reportedly don't flow as well as the OEM pump.
