Here is the picture of the Zoomer for the MINI.$1400 is expensive.

If you like loud then Magnaflow or Borla Race might be good for you but if you like a more moderate sound then try UUC, Rspeed, or Milltek

Interesting minimalist design but not sure how loud it will be and how much power it might make- I'd estimate 5 to 8 HP like all the rest but could be quite loud.

Go with a Magnaflow or Borla for about half that price. Crevier is famous for charging over MSRP for their Mini's and accessories. Who do you think pays for that gorgeous showroom? The customers who do not shop around...Keep shopping!

Crevier is also a Dinan dealer and while I was asking about the Dinan upgrades they were trying to talk me into one of these pieces of crap. It looks like a ricer special to me. The guy also told me that Borla and Magniflow systems are junk!
Sort of reminds me of the AeroTurbine:
http://www.turboexhaust.com/
They offered to lend me one to experiment with when I was building my exhaust. While I didn't take them up, after sharing with others, someone else did, but with less than desirable results.
I'm guessing that it's quite loud with only that resonator to muffle the sound. I ran my MCS with only a center pipe and resonator (SuperSprint) just for the heck of it, and it was extremely loud. Thankfully it never left my driveway...
Ask them if they've sold any yet for the MINI, and if so, inquire about getting contact info so you can learn first-hand what othes have experienced. Heck, maybe they will ship you one to try, hoping that you will like it, buy it, and share with all of us. Can't hurt to ask...
I think she'll be loud though. The weight-savings are probably pretty good...

All,
I have an 03 MCS with a Zoomers exhaust on it in my possession right now and I can tell you first hand that the exhaust is obnoxiously loud. It has a nice sound, but it's soooo loud that it's actually pissing off my neighbors. Back when I was in my early twenties, I'm sure that I would have absolutely loved this exhaust, but now that I'm older and a bit more conservative, I just can't stand it. The Zoomers exhaust makes me laugh though as it makes the car really fun to drive when you want it (it's amazing how much power the car actually has), but when the time comes to just drive the car mellow, the exhaust resonates inside the car so loudly that the sound is painful to my ears.
I can tell you that the exhaust does seem to add some real power to the car (I think that you'd be hard pressed to find another exhaust system that adds as much power to a stock MCS). We took the Zoomers equipped 03 MCS on a spin the other night and ran it head-to-head against our 05 JCW equipped (210 bhp) MCS and it pretty much held its own. The 05 had the advantage due to the lower gearing (and more hp), but once the Zoomers equipped MCS got moving, it was definitely competitive (I'd really like to see one on a car with a 19% pulley as I'd bet that it would be a real screamer and would probably out run my JCW).
I'm not sure that I believe the 15-25 hp increase claims, but I can tell you first hand that the exhaust really does give the car some serious kick. The first time I drove it, I swore up and down that it had a pulley on it. However, after close inspection, it turned out that it didn't (it's completely stock except for the exhaust). The Zoomers equipped MCS is certainly fun to drive and very fast, but I'd never buy one just because of how obnoxiously loud it is (we're talking near straight pipe loudness here that really echoes like crazy in our little neighborhood - it's a ticket waiting to happen for sure as the cops can hear you coming from a mile away!).
I really like the JCW exhaust on my 05 MCS. It's supper quiet but still has a really nice tone to it from outside of the car (and the really nice backpressure pops and gurgles too). When I drive the JCW equipped car in mellow mode, you can't even tell it has an exhaust system on it, but once you step on it, it really comes to life and the supercharger just screams out loud (I LOVE that sound!!!
). With the Zoomers exhaust, you can't ever hear the whine coming from the supercharger as the exhaust is way too loud and masks it out entirely.
Thus, I wouldn't rule out the Zoomers exhaust (despite their ridiculous performance claims and their silly model shots), but you do need to make sure that the exhaust is right for you. If you're in the younger crowd that really likes the attention that a loud exhaust system brings, then the Zoomers exhaust is definitely for you and you'll be super happy with it. However, if you're like me and like a more conservative and quiet sounding exhaust that still performs well, then I'd go with something else. I've never driven an MCS with a Borla or a Magnaflow exhaust system (so I can't really comment on those), but I do have a Borla exhaust system on my Jeep and it's quite nice.
Just my $0.02...

Zoomer looks like my old SLP (Street Legal Performance) Loud Mouth exhaust I had on my 98 Camaro and 01 Vette. A resonator--no mufflers and actually a straight pipe exhaust. I missed this when I was shopping for "the loudest" MCS exhaust. $1,400 seems absurd. I do love my Magna Flow--coming from my last 2 cars it is mean, but not obnoxious. My neighbors love my MINI/Magna Flow. Go figure. Oh, I am 61.
I have used powertone products in the past with excellent results, so I decided to call these guys today. I ordered up one of these exhaust systems as I am taking my twincharge to the next level with full 2.5 in turbo back exhaust. I am going to run the downpipe back to the factory cat back position at a full 2.5 inch, this exhaust is 2.5 then branches off to dual 2.25. I will post some updated dyno's for this high flow option(I am currently running the stock one ball exhaust with catalyst) with and without a catalytic converter. I fully expect to get 300whp +/- with the exhaust upgrade in addition to the lower boost pulley we are going to try out in the Helix Turbokompressor kit. If the results are favorable we will have hardparts and tuning for these different levels
of tune.
On to the noise issue, in my talks today the manufacturer said they added in another resonator and that the sound quality(lack of resonance) is much better.

spoke to the owner at zoomers today and he said they made a few changes to the exhaust to bring the noise level down and the price is $799 shipped. heard a zoomer exhaust on a magnum rt and it had great sound
We did a AGS install on a Zoomer equiped car on tuesday. It was my first contact with the product. I would say it was about as loud as the Borla Race/Sport system but really snapped and crackled when backing off in gear. We noticed a good bit of drone on the highway tho and the customer also agreed that it had a tendency to do so. Nice fit and finish.

just stick a turbonator/vortex in your current exhaust system and you are there for a lot less!
Ridiculous to spend 1400 on a CATBACK for a MCS.
I'm waiting for a OBX CATBACK to arrive ANY day now. 299.00 !
Once installed I'll post a review.
If its crap, its only 299 of crap and not 1400
