fuel pressure regulator upgrade?

Trying to add a little more fuel pressure. Is there any upgrade to our FPR? We run 3.5 bar, can it be tweaked or is there a 4 bar FPR that works?

Thanks.

Regards,
Jerry

I don't think it can be changed without bypassing the factory vacuum unit and going to an aftermarket regulator.
There may be a way to disassemble the modulator but it would be hit and miss as to what you could actually do to it. But who knows, it is just a fuel grade vacuum modulator. Maybe some other cars use a 4 bar or higher that could be swapped in, but honestly the aftermarket route would be much simpler.
This it's just one of those mods that most people don't need, and those who do have already used so many aftermarket solutions in their cars, they just go that route here as well.
I've actually measured 53 psi (3.65 bar) at the rail, if that matters.
And for those who are wondering, the factory fuel pump is capable of about 62+ psi (4.2 bar).

Jerry, just wondering, is this something you know you need, or are worried you might? Unless your running e85 or something higher, the OEM system has supported 750cc injectors with pump gas. And are you actually looking for more pressure or are you maybe looking for more flow? That can be achieved with a pump upgrade.
