I'm partial to this style:

Routing may be an issue but I'm sure Peter can solve it.

Hi Guy's....

Thank you for the interest in our new Patent Pending "Air Gain System" and I promisse
it will be done very soon. The problem is that we have taken the induction
process to the next level (or Two) and engineering the parts have been
very difficult and time consuming.

Every part of the system had to be custom molded/cnc machined to meet our
high standards and performance goal, without putting it out of reach for most
enthusiasts. The first batch of intakes has been bought by Euro Styles East
and they will have plenty of stock in less then 2 weeks.

As for pictures.....We will have plenty as soon as the first article lands in my
hands. Expected price.......less the $300

I hope that will answer some of your questions for now.

Sincerely

peter horvath

I had the good fortune to discuss this with Peter from concept, through its prototype stages, as well as the various manufacturing steps needed to bring it to market. While I have not seen it, the picture in my head is of a design that is quite unique and favorable for increased flow. I am not at liberty to share more details, and I will keep that promise...

I can't wait to see it also!

For those of us in the Republik of Kalifornia will it be CARB certified? If not, will it prevent us from easily putting the stock airbox back on when it comes time for the smog *****?
I have had the "pleasure" of having a previous car fail the emission test and it is not enjoyable. This issue has kept me from getting an intake. But I want one to compliment my new pulley!

Dave
2003 DS/B MCS with 15% pulley for now...

what is involved for CARB certification?

any way to predict what could get approved, like the twincharged system, headers, reduction pulley, for example?

this sounds like what my sister did when we were little, "I've got a secret, nya-nya-nya!". All I can say is it ain't nothin until it's out! I do lots of things for my work, including sales and marketing, and early "hints" serve to create some free publicity, and also to try to keep some $ that would be going in competitiors products from being spent. Not that this is bad, but the original "hints" started over a month ago..... I'd say just wait for releases. It's not in M7s interest to not share info when it's available. But until then, it's all smoke and mirrors, or vaporware, to steal a phrase from software.

I certainly apologize you took it that way Matt. That was not the intent at all. If so, I would have attempted to sound more pompous and obnoxious...

M7 had a release on their website back on 10/21 of this forth-coming product. And I believe you are correct in that it was brought-up even a few weeks prior to that. You obviously recognize some of the business benefits of doing so. As a consumer, I also like to know what's in the pipe-line so I can plan accordingly...

Also, it's not as though the only threads about product not yet available are only relegated to M7. Coming-to-mind (probably just a few threads below) is the RDR intercooler, the two twin-charged systems, Pilo pistons and GIAC for the 19%. Given the number posts and views, folks find these discussions worthwhile.

And far as detail is concerned, or the lack of, the other examples provided didn't come right-out with full-disclosure either, and for good reasons most likely.

Little sister? How about Daddy... as in who's your Daddy?!

You know, I had in parentheses (might be avaiable now), but took it out... Obviously the thread started before the release .

I'm not bent, but what do think is the effect of "While I have not seen it, the picture in my head is of a design that is quite unique and favorable for increased flow. I am not at liberty to share more details, and I will keep that promise..."

Sounds like "I have information and won't share it" to me. So I stick by my claim that there is no content. I'm fine with all the talking, but really, if you're to honor your word not to share information before the release, there isn't much that you CAN write.

Matt
