From what Randy Webb told me, unless you have a big bore TB, there is no benefit from the Alta Silicone Hose. Cost is $60.00 HP increase 0. Now, if you planing on getting a big bore TB later, you may want to get the hose now. IMO, there are many mods that will improve HP before getting the TB. The TB should be one of your last mods.

I think you will find they charge $99.00 for the hose alone. It is a $60.00 option with the intake. apexer's advice is spot on.

Other than lookin pretty its pretty useless..... I find it to be more annoying that pretty tho... fits like crap but Alta is going to trade me a new hose for this one... it was cut too short.

I got it... waste of money i think, its a pain and a half to put on and does not fit perfectly lots of pushing and hitting to get it in there. Now that its on its no big deal but it was quite the hassle to get on. I wouldnt get it now that I have it.

I personally thought it was a bit of a hassle to get it on, with all the tight squeezes for the clamps and all.

Save your money! I should have stuck with the stock hose as well. The added intake sucking sound is not appealing either.

that being said, does this make the pilo intake worth considering over the alta? I know that the pilo is a lot less than the alta even without the hose......

From what I have heard and read on other posts the alta is the best intake for horsepower. The foam allows more and faster airflow than the other ones in the market, so you might want to stick with the alta unless you hear otherwise.

all intakes do the same thing.. i belive the pilo is the best bang-for-the-buck intake on the market... and according to webb motorsport i believe it makes 1-2 hp less than the alta.. .

i believe i hear rdr's huge cai makes the most hp
