MINI N14 JCW with Manic Tune Stage 1 Dyno test result
OK before surprise you with my number, let me list out my mods
NM charge and discharge pipe
Wagner Competition Intercooler
K & N hi-flow filter
Quicksilver exhaust
NM Short Shift adaptor
NM torque arm mount insert
Alta blow off valve spring upgrade (with stock BOV)
I have the Manic Tuning Stage 1+ after all these mods and my result is
147ps (flywheel)
I don't get it, even I calculate the power lost, either 25% or 60HP, it's still lower than my stock HP which is 208HP, how is that? My car only have ~15000miles on it and I change my oil every 5000miles. Can anyone explain this to me? Thank you
p.s. The place I did in Dyno is different than the place I did the manic tune (I thought that way I can have a non-bias result)

All dyno's are NOT the same! Besides measuring either Wheel HP or Crank (flywheel) HP, they have different load and measurement techniques. It's always best to use the same machine when comparing performance mods. This minimizes the variations in different machines, leaving only normal environmental and calibration variations.

My car feel more linear than before, and the pop sound is more loud in sport mod. However I not sure if I feel faster. My manic tuning people say it's not going to change a lot since i am not replacing my turbo nor downpipe. My dyno guy says they don't know (there are not many JCW around my town).
