What type of data. Race data?

For solo and track days I use a Race Technology DL1. For us it collects a lot of data but it is not simple to interpret it into usable information.

Alot of folks use the Bytetronik setup from Mynes for data logging and remote tuning. http://www.mynesperformance.com/

Yup, a lot of aftermarket companies offer logging software, but most of that is specific to their product, like gauge companies Innovative and Autometer or ECU companies like Vipec, only logs the data related to their products, it good to have but of course can be very specific as to what it does, and it's of course not Mini specific like the Bytetronik software is.

PM them.
The logging feature is extremely good and very complete.
Don't let some of the old stories and debates scare you off. They offer many different options for their products, not just a full blown tuning package. (Even though I do recommend that as well)

We were also responsible for EcuFlash; so naturally, we just kept the same GUI. But the back-end of FullAccess and EcuFlash are very different.

Also, the pin assignments are different on the MINIPort; so if you use the Bytetronik hardware (MINIPOrt) on an Evo or Suby, you can potentially fry their ecu...

Not sure if this is what you're looking for but checkout ScanXL from Palmer Performance (makers of DashCommand). You can get a cable/wireless device from Scantool. Some of the Scantool devices come with data logging software.

They log any of the PIDs of the DME via the OBD2 port.

i was looking for something like evoscan, but it looks like ByteTronik has a good solution. Now I just need some extra cash, I would really like that supercharger.
