Anyone installed the "device" on a new 2005? I got one of these devices for my 2002, but then it was flooded and never installed, so now I'm wondering whether to put it on my '05 or not...

We are considering adding the "M7 Device" to the M7AGS system for free.

I don't know if we will have a free give away again, as it seems like certain
factions on this board would like to make it in to something it isn't, ie. an underhanded attempt for a "free" mailing list....sorry.

Have you spoken to your partner about the reason why you offered the device in the first place?

Andy you were so sure that we were going to use the information to flood people's mail boxes with unwanted mail perhaps it would be interesting if you compiled some "numbers" regardiing that claim.

Can I send in a SASE, yet not be put on your mailing list as per the terms of the National Do Not Call list?

Quote:
Q: My number is on the National Do Not Call Registry. After I bought something from a company, a telemarketer representing that organization called me. Is this a violation?

A: No. Even if you put your number on the National Do Not Call Registry, a company with which you have an established business relationship may call you for up to 18 months after your last purchase or delivery from it, or your last payment to it, unless you ask the company not to call again. (In that case, the company must honor your request not to call. If they subsequently call you again, they may be subject to a fine of up to $11,000.) Also, if you make an inquiry to a company or submit an application to it, for three months afterwards the company can call you. If you make a specific request to that company not to call you, however, then the company may not call you, even if you have an established business relationship with that company.

If you do not want to put your number on the national registry, you can still prohibit individual telemarketers, one by one, from calling by asking them to put you on their company’s do not call list.

I understand. Thanks for your consideration anyway.

;Andy, haven't you ordered plenty of stuff through the mail already? I'm sure your address is already on lots of mailing list. What's M7 gonna do with yours? Take a chance

I was hoping M7 would just send it to him to eliminate about 50% or more of the skeptics. It would seem to me the $0.35 from M7 would clean up the air a lot.

Edit: Mark Ferguson has asked me to edit or remove this post and since it is his site, I will comply.

And where exactly did I say that I was "so sure that we were going to use the information to flood people's mail boxes with unwanted mail".

Wow

The more I dig around the NAM forums the more I see the Yankees/Redsox rivalry is mild in comparison. And to think I have made fun of female friends for tuning into soap operas.

You aint kiddin' from the dead...

any way, I have one "new and uninstalled" that I'll let go for $50, since they're so rare and hard to come by. Comes complete with the installation instructions.

BTW, I've *never* received any of the rumored advertising or junk mail that M7 was accused of collecting addresses for. So from my perspective, hats off to Peter and the rest of the M7 crew.

Hahaha go figure....trolls are usually making things up to bash on vendors for whatever reason they feel necessary, no surprise that their un-founded claims never came true

What I really meant to say was "two snaps up with a twist" to M7. If anybody remembers that....
