Wish I could but I'm lucky to be able to post on this board. No digital camera or sound recording device. All I can say is the sound is very nice. Much like an older English sports car.

Randy,

I can do a little video/audio before and after the install so we can post the differences for our fellow MINICOOPERonliner's.

Let me know

Kelly

Gee Randy, that's a real shame there is going to be a UPS package on your porch with a Borla Exhaust in it while you're away. I might have to swing by and um, see that someone nefarious doesn't swipe it.

But yeah, I would be interested in checking out the install (regardless of who's car it's on).

Both RandyBMC and I now have the Borla Cooper S exhaust on our MINIs.

The install of the Borla Cooper S exhaust onto RandyBMC's MINI went pretty smoothly. There was some difficulty getting the stock exhaust free from the rear hangers, but the Borla exhaust fit together quite nicely.

The system I got did *not* go together nearly as smooth. We wound up needing the full resouces of MINI Motorsports to get the various pieced together. The problem with my exhaust being that the "Y" pipe that splits the flow at the back of the mid pipe was ovalized very very slightly. In the end, we had to use the dremel and a torch to heat up one of the pieces to allow everything to "slip" together (slip being a very loosely used term here). This was quite surprizing to me, as I haven't seen any other posts about Q.C. problems with the Borlas. So I would take this as a freak occurance, but even so it was very frustrating on Friday night. Now that it has been installed on my MINI the exhaust is quite nice.

As mentioned regarding the intake thread, is there anyway for the various exhaust thread to be combined together?
