I dont know how to read this bosch label and i need an ECU for my R56 N14 2008 turbo automatic.

Hello,

DME have the same group part number based on related ECUs of that model. Based off that 1214 is the beginning and 7586132

I could not find that part number on The DME 12147586132 , the closet part number is 12147586137. It must be an old part number that was cancelled or something.


But there is hope . I can see the DME is marked with the last 7 digits of the VIN it came out of. " TV35729 "

That ECU was from a 4/2008 Production R56 MINI Cooper S N14 engine

And it was a Pepper White / Black Roof / Black Mirrors / Glass Roof : Automatic Transmission MINI

Does that sound like the MINI it came out of ? Thats what I get for that VIN.

Yes the Part number does not come up for the one stamped on the unit. But it might be older and realoem does not show the older part numbers that I can see. When they update that site some of the oldest part numbers fall off. The part number on that unit is just an older part number. Same part number auto and manual trans. I can get some information from the VIN. " TV35729 " is that you car ecu or another?

OK here is my info:
THis is my vin TV33778 supposed to be a N14 R56 Turbo S Automatic 6 speed, xenon, sunroof. Thats all i know so far.
THe picture that i posted before is an ECU that has the same number as the one in my car. The one in my car is not working, i dont have the funds to buy one new, so my best guess is to get one from ebay, but i dont know which one to pick.

I can help you with the VINs and the part numbers. When its get to the older part numbers there is some many that are not on the visual sequence.

I have a 2007 mini s, 6 speed, chili hatchback, and the ECU has been diagnosed as BAD.MY VIn is TT81591. Will the same number 12147601756 work on my car. I noticed that the question from Cesar re his automatic car needs the same part number is this correct. Also, it appears that part numbers 12147586132, and 12147586137 were the original part numbers, and ...756 replaced them. Since when does a car company change the part numbers on their parts?
