While doing some research, I came across this on ECS's website

http://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2010-C...alve/ES253297/

It looks exactly the same as the valve WMW sells. All the VAG 710D bypass valves look different than this unit.

Can anyone shed some light?

i believe Way's is sourced from audi or vw, functions the same as the mini, but has stronger spring and actuator coil to work faster and with more boost if you have mods

I have the WMW one, and my seat o pants ometer, says that the WMW description would make sense. I did this with the noise maker and boost resonater delete, and the complete combo seems to be snappier to my waste band. But then again, I have no data to back any of it up.

Spend the extra $$$$ and get the Forge one. It is the best on the market.

I second that motion.

I got mine from Way and installed it myself. I do not know why BMW does not use something like this from the beginning.

You're talking about the recirculation valve or the blow-off valve?

Alta CRV. Does away with stupidly relying on the ECU for actuation and works like a DV should.

The Forge is a good DV. I had it installed ofr a while and switched to the Alta. I do like the the Alta better but either will be a good improvement.

Yeah I heard the alta was better(people that have it), definitely getting it right before I get my tune.
