I've got to pick up a firewire card. My new motherboard doesn't have a firewire port for some weird reason. I've got some video footage of the dyno runs but I'm not sure how they'll turn out. If they're crap, I'll re-shoot some of the exhaust outside my house. I'll see if I can swing by this afternoon to pick up a firewire card...

I'm pretty sure Shad has a couple exhausts and a header on order. He's a great guy with Tons of invaluable information. He's been the Crew Chief of several Indy race teams, including being Crew Chief of the Year back in the late 90's, and he's spent the past 8 years deveoping the majority of the NSX performance parts for Comptech road and race cars. He's a hell of a guy and can answer virtually any question you could possibly have..

Okay.. you did a a decent job for your first time. I love the tips. Can you do another but rev it a little more. It sounds great will a nice little pop while coming down.

I forgot to post my second attempt that I ripped a couple nights ago.. This one's a little better. I'll probably end up doing a longer rip that will start outside close to the exhaust and continue around the car and then maybe a clip from inside the car. I was just noticing this morning that I don't hear the exhaust a all on the freeway going to work.. unless I'm accellerating. YOu can hear the absense of most of the deep tone when the throttle is just maintained. Anyway, until I can make another "home move", here's the newer clip.

Oh.. and the price.. well, minus shipping it's around $1500-ish. Hopefully Shad will keep a couple in stock. I know he'll be getting a couple exhausts in his next order that's currently being help up by Saclam's $7000 Ferrari 360 exhaust, which Shad has on order. ABTsportsline no longer has a MINI. He's a friend of mine from a euro car club here in San Antonio and is now driving a 1996 VW Cab with a VR6 in it. So that's why he hasn't posted since July 2004. I agree though that the front page does really need an update.

That Saclam exhaust is gorgeous.

I don't believe that you can buy, or they would even sell just, the tips from Saclam. If they would just sell the tips I'd cringe to think of what they'd charge for 'em. They would probably tell you that they'd sell you the tips and throw the exhaust in for free..

Here's a quick clip that I took this weekend. I have yet to take a real "flyby" but this gives you an idea of idle, start, roll-by, and roll-on-throttle. I hope to take a little more when I get a chance to find some quiet back roads and someone to hold the cam.

The whine is from the AGS intake system. Nothing else even sounds close
