Zrwon we will talke some photos of both systems next week and try to update the site as soon as we can .

Surfs up , I will check with our web master and see if perhaps we can host the video on our site. I will have him contact you . If somone else can host it for you that would be good also.

34 Mini, did you order the black tip or the polish ? I think the black are going to look hot but I have only seen the polised ones so far and they look good as well.

I ordered the polished tips due to the fact that I have the chrome exterior. Was a tough decision though... When do you think they will ship????

Surfs Up you say that this new exhuast is on the loud side...is it louder than the magnaflow? And how is it on the freeway under 4k rpm, is it too loud?

I am not sure how Surfs Up will respond but his system was pre production and the current version has the same sound but is at least a few DB lower. We just received one of the first untis with the black tips and will post some photos in the next day or so .

For what it's worth, it looks to me like ABTsportsline (started this thread) hasn't posted on NAM since July of 2004!

Seems like the first post of the thread could use a bit of maintenance -- updated pics and info, new systems, whatever -- but (if I correctly interpreted "Find all posts by ABTsportsline") the post #1 author isn't going to do it. Perhaps a mod could take over and edit, or assign that authority to someone else?

I'd guess so, I only have one resonator and it's not very dampened if I put it like that, it's cylindric and it goes right through.

This won't help the UK, but I wondered if the header might be available in the US, so I googled and found out that King Motorsports apparently is a dealer:

Google cache, from 2004: press release
Their site: http://www.king-motorsports.com/

I'm gonna email them and see...

Sorry I can not comment on the loudness of it compared to the magnaflow, I've never hear the magnaflow system in person. I've listened to the borla and miltek, and the M7 is alittle louder and has a more lower tone. I really like how it sounds. I notice that this system on my 06 MCS makes a lot of burble when I release the throttle. As for the freeway, there is diffinately a drone at freeway speeds but I've kinda gotten used to it. I did a long 100 mile trip last week and my wife wasn't too happy afterwards.

We have that aditional resonator available if you want to keep things happy on the home front

Q-Tip

Many thanks for doing such a thorough, competent job of researching cat-back options for the Mini S. You are worth more money! I was stalled until now on making a cat-back choice for my 06 Mini S because of the many options available and the absence of a central place to learn about them. Atta boy.

Heres a clip of my exhaust on my 2003 JCWS, with GTT High flow manifold and Cat, JCW exhaust with the centre resonator removed and straight through pipe welded in instead (Baffles went in the resonator).

Hope this is the right place to put it!

Bit short but i was trying not to annoy the neighbours too much!

Best HP Gain w/Close to Stock sound?

To be honest, I really hate listening to all those bumblebees buzzing around the streets. For myself, I want something a bit more subtle, but that also gives me the benefits of a freer-flowing exhaust...

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Agreed completely.....coffee can sounding exhausts are for rice burners. We need something to distinct us from East Asia and why not the sound of a low deep growl coming from our tailpipes!
