Those with aftermarket downpipes...

Do you guys have any plans with your stock downpipe you've removed?
Or are they just sitting there in storage?

Mine will be sitting in storage, and won't be going back onto the car. But I live in Australia, so you probably aren't interested in buying it off me

I'm also in need of a downpipe stock. I've been wanting to try to figure out a way to remove some of the cat without throwing any cels for all of us 2011 minis out there that can tune in a catless downpipe. I've been trying to do this mod that mike from Cobb linked me

Achilles, there is little to no room for a cutout on the DP itself, it'd likely be post Vband or after the flex pipe if so.

As for you wanting to cut out some of the cells to retain CEL-free, I'm not sure this would be possible. At least, not to gain anything from. Cutting out a group of cells would likely pass through enough gas to throw a CEL, as the O2s are VERY tempermental (no pun intended) lol. If you did get away without a CEL by removing very few cells, it'd mean you're still within OEM parameters, which would mean you're getting minimal to no gain from it.
