As several others on here have noted the use of a larger pulley as you have stated would slow down the water pump not speed it up as you claim .Just as when a smaller pulley is used ala the 15% reduction unit the water pump is speeded up. Having such a unclear concept as to the workings of the mini motor should cause some to wonder about your evaluation of the product. My question as to weather or not this could lead to problems in the hotter climates still stands. It may be a moot point but something that should be looked into .

Well, just as easily as you could make a larger sized sc pulley, couldn't you just make smaller pullies for the water pump which would kinda counter-act with the larger sized sc pulley??? keeping the water pump at the same speed...not that it makes sense or anything, just wondering...

Agreed Maxmini. And, if I were charged with evaluating a water pump as part of evaluating the engine as a 'system', then I would certainly be drawn intuitively to evaluate extremes in pulley speed; slow, fast and anything between. Some of us may feel comfortable hoping that there is enough tolerance in the original engine's design to handle our modifications. I prefer to know the deltas based upon careful examination so when I hammer it, I can do so with peace of mind. Alas, we have to 'hope' on occasion.

Sooo....

Does anyone offer this as a kit or installed kit yet?

I see a lot of speculation and lots of Roosters pecking back and forth but not much else.

Yes, contact TWINCHRGDMINI for details on his kit and where to purchase it from. I've driven his car (the one with the twincharged set-up that's been run for over a year) and absolutely loved it. Saving my pennies to get one for my MCS!

BTW, here's another thread he started.

contact info from the bottom of the first post.

Thanks a lot! I appreciate a helpful reply. I'll give them a call.

Do you know if they do installs?

(One-lined useless and condescending posters need not bother) ..!..

I'm not sure if they do installs. I do know they've been involved with installs, but not sure if they themselves do it. They design, manufacture and market the system. I'm not even sure if you can buy one directly from them, since they do have resellers and I'm not sure of the details of their contractural agreements with the resellers. Best thing to do it to give them a call.

Hubie is NOT interested in doing the installs but has done them in the past. He has installers at least out here in Cali. Where do you live? I will talk to him tomorrow and find out for you.
