Quality wise: What is the Best DP for the R56?

With the addition of the R56 to the Accessport tuning capability and the ability to turn off the CEL we can finally get a Down pipe and gain the full potential of one and an exhaust. Currently I have a JCW exhaust on my MINI, I want to get a catless down pipe (along with an Accesport). I know that no matter what brand I get I am going to see roughly the same numbers. So now I am looking at quality and something that does not cost more then what I owe on my MINI. There are several brands out there to include Exhaust Depot, Riss Racing Akrapovic, WMW, and a few more or a custom exhaust shop one. There is also going the expensive route and purchasing the ABF catless exhaust. What is everyones thought on what is the best quality/brand for the money? Please discuss and even throw in combinations of exhausts with DPs. And if you have dyno sheets to back up your horsepower claims go ahead and post. I want a true debate of what is out there.

Riss Racing catless...if you can find one.

They will usually pop up on eBay. Will fit a stock exhaust, or any stock-length exhaust (ie JCW or Invidia)

I have a ceramic coated catless one...never dynoed or anything after it but the gains are obvious.

The Akrapovic is going to be the highest quality, but it is also $$$ and it is catted...and you already heard my thoughts on that.

I've had no issues with 38K miles on my Ragazzon catless DP.

I know you said catless but the Akrapovic DP is very nice (100 CEL).

I found a riss racing catless and I am getting a pretty good deal on it for being slightly used. Now comes the tune and I am set.

Yep, I've got a coated RR catless down pipe. Got it from ebay brand new for under $200. On installation, I'd highly recommend buying a new v-band clamp to go the the rest of the exhaust. $15 new from dealer. My old one was rust and twisted when it came off.

I've got a coated RR catless that I'd be willing to offload for the right price.

Riss could have done a better job if the downpipe was built inhouse instead of china.

The welds look ok from the outside but look in the pipe ,the other issue is that the outlet is a little offcenter.

Pipe does make good power and tq.

was it from 4x4angelo? If so, was there any clue as to whether this is just some guy trying to copy the Riss Racing one? I noticed he buys a lot of o2 bungs and flanges.
