Interesting. I shied away from the S model bacause of all the seeming, at least on these boards, problems with reliability. I have no doubt that the factory specs will keep the engine and parts together better than a modified one. The trouble is people saying the turbo melted down, the engine broke, etc. don't say weather they have modified or how much.
I guess it is a crap shoot.

You are right. I guess it was just an outloud observation. It would be nice to know if the problems were 2nd to mods though. Good luck on your build.

For me the 7 P's, Prior Planning and preparation Prevents **** Poor Performance, was taught in military school here in the UK, as well as, Hands Off ***** And Put Them On Your Socks, screamed at you first thing in the morning.

Didn't know unless the 7s are in a different car but, we are still running the ep6dts in the R56. Or as some here would refer to it as the N14.
