well still no luck getting it started.

cleaned all grounds. checked all power cables for power. disconnected/reconnected starter wires. checked all fuses. tried with different relays.
Still nothing when the key is turned in ignition. All lights come on and stay on. No clicking etc.
I checked to see if my clutch switch was loose and it wasnt. it clicks when clutch pedal is depressed

I am getting to the point that maybe its something with my key/ignition.
will have to get my second key sometime to try that.

but on the other hand. I did get my boost gauge done and OCC completed.:D

 

make sure you didnt fry the wiring harness

 

i will have to go check it out after work. It runs fine if you push start it tho.

 

 

SOOOOO DUMB!!!!!!

Car is fine now. Got my spare key mailed from my parents house today. Went out and started right up. not sure if this was the problem from the start, or what. but the chip in my key must just be bad.

 

anyways, decided to go to Omaha and celebrate the car being fine.


have to love staring at those peaks all night long! :D

well so i guess it wasnt an easy fix. Ive been letting it sit for awhile now because it stopped starting again with the key. Ive been so tired of not getting anywhere with it I just dropped it off at MINI of Omaha today. pretty sure its the ignition swith, but we'll see.

Glad to see it running. Break it in easy and get the tune before you hammer it. Don't want to see results like someone else who didn't tune a car.
