Megan exhaust

Does anyone have this on their car yet? If so what do you think. From pictures I have seen it looks to be a quality unit. I also saw the pilo put one on their car and it sounded good and they seemed to be happy with the fit, finish, and performance of the unit. For the price it looks very tempting.

I would like to hear from others that have purchassed and installed this system as to what you think, loud? Does it resonate?

We have been getting it for a couple weeks. It sounds god, and fits good. On the 05 though, it will need to be modified to fit by bending the inside hanger. Other then that, it is a great exhaust for the money.

Thanks

For the most part it was your review and video that has me leaning toward this system. The pricing is about where they all should be. $800 for an exhaust is just rediculous.

What would you sell one for shipped to california.

We can do it for 420, plus 20 for shipping most likely. Where are you in CA?

I have been running it for a while now, Rust is not a factor, it is 100% Stainless Steel. The sound is quieter then the UUC, and performance is just as good. There is no reason that all mini parts have to cost twice as much as parts for other cars on the market.

MiniPilo,

I really like the sound of this system, but the exhaust hanged a little lower than other or just my thinking. Compare to Playmini and you almost don't see anything hanging.

My car was rear ended a while back, This caused the stock exhaust to hang low as well. This is a bit lower the the stock exhaust, but is not to low as to cause scraping or such. I will try to get a picture from a customer of mine to see how it hangs on their car.

$420 SOUNDS FAIR, although three would be even better.

But I'm not going to whine, it's mucho better than other's and more in line with the rest of the auto market out there.
Is it also available without the pre-silencer before the turn's ?
How much would shipping be to zip 80301 (please~) ??

Thanks,
Cris

Drone is very minimal, much less then the UUC was. There is drone with all Mini Exhausts, just from the sound of the mini, and the way the car is.

Shipping on the west is 40, shipping to the east is 50.

420 is the cost, but you can always use the NAM discount

You don't happen to have a sound clip, do you?

I'm wondering where it falls in the loudness spectrum. Sounds like it's louder than Miltek, but quieter than UUC? Is that about right?

I recieved my system in a very timley manner and it was well packed, the system has very nice bends and welds and looks to be top quality. I would say that I seriously doubt any of those expensive exhausts are any better and in many cases I doubt they are even as well made as this one is.

I cant tell you how it sounds on my car or how it actually fits the car since I am still waiting to get the mini. But I am definatly impressed by the quailty and design of this system. I have bought many exhaust systems and the quailty of the workmanship is top notch at a much better price that the others. Its a shame that we get gouged so hard for mini parts when there is no reason for them to be as overpriced as they are....

Yellow,

I know this is an old post, but I'm planning on getting an exhaust in two weeks and I want one that performs and sounds loud, but not super loud. I love the sound of the Alta Exhaust, but for $700, I'm debating. I like the look of the Megan Exhaust, but I was wondering if it is as loud as the Alta and if it has the nice bubble sounds too. Anything would help. Thanks!

I have the Alta and I am glad I spent the extra money. Nothing can describe how it sounds at higher rpms
