That does not mean you don't have to check them. ALWAYS check your gap against the spec. "Trust but verify"

 

Good idea to verify. Just note that NGK say that their plugs should not re-gapped.

As Slinger alludes to, plugs are designed for such specific applications now, there is one right setting. Not like the old days when we played with everything in the ignition just to keep it running. Emissions requires it fire every single time under all conditions. Not easy, but great for power, economy, and the mandated driving force: emissions. Win-win-win.

 

As far as i know ALL NGK plugs come pre gapped...
correct me if im wrong
