with an aftermarket street cam..do you need a tune?do you need an adjustable cam gear? how hard is it to dial in yourself without any experince?..

 

you dont need a tune but it would allow you to realize the maximum gains. From what I know adjustable cam gears were produced but I have not seen them for sale since I purchased my Mini.

As said, you don't need a tune, but you will realize higher gains with one. That being said, I drove mine for about 9 months without a tune and it added quite a bit of power without it. Depending on the cam you get you may need to dent the spark plug tubes for clearance

 

The install isn't bad just be really careful reinstalling your intake rockers. Be sure to pay extra attention to the valve lashing caps. They crack super easy!!! They're almost like eggshells.
