R56 Rotors On R53 With R53 Calipers??
Ok After doing much research I cannot find the exact answers.
I know that you can use the r53 jcw or r56 294mm rotors and calipers & pads and they will bolt on a r53 without modifications.
Now can I just use the r56 rotors on a r53 with r53 calipers & pads??
(I may get jcw r53 calipers from someone and then go with the r56 rotors) But if he backs out, then can I still go with the 294mm (r56 or jcw r53 rotors) on my oem r53 calipers??
Also for anyone who installed r56 calipers on a r53 can I use r53 ss lines or are r56's different?
Sorry for the confusion and thanks in advance.

Due to a larger rotor diameter, you have to buy both R56 rotors and R56 calipers as a complete brake upgrade. I'm not sure if the R53 JCW calipers will mate up OK with the R56 rotors. Looks like you will need new lines; reference the third thread below.

P.S. If you are not tracking the car or doing lots of aggressive driving, you probably don't need the large upgrade. I opted to get stock-size drilled rotors front and rear, with EBC Yellow Stuff kevlar pads in the front and OEM-style ceramic pads in the rear. A lot of NAM'ers like the Carbotech pads. I do want to paint my calipers at some in the future.
