Every car I've ever owned had some power impact when the AC is turned on. Some more than others. However, in my R53, the impact is the least of all cars I've owned. The first time I turned the AC on I actually thought it wasn't on since there was such a minimal change in power.

I only notice it when starting from a stop. I actually leave my A/C off until I get moving and sometimes even turn it off when I hit a stoplight. Usually windows and sunroof open are enough to keep me cool.

So I got the DTBPV, I got it all installed, it actually might have helped a tad, but that could just me in my head, probably in my head.

I am still only making 9 psi (down from ten from the heat I'm sure), but this bpv there was a lot less light coming through,I think my old was one worn out,

But still, looks like i need to rebuild the supercharger, I can't decide if its worth it, I am considering selling the MINI so I don't know it it would be worth my money and time.

Before selling it check the IC connection boots for leaks, check the belt, and go back to the stock tune. That Shark tune is known for causing driving and performance issues.

It seems like you have things well figured out, but I have a question. I noticed on my other car if I go wot with the AC on it will cut the AC after about a second and half up until I am no longer wot. I haven't paid that much attention to the AC in the MINI but I thought it was common for cars at wot to cut the AC

I have noticed the big issue with power lose with the A/C on is how much power the Cooling fan will consume. Put a volt meter on your car and watch the power drop to around 10.5 to 11 volts at a light. If you sit long enough the car will automatically rev the motor around 300 to 500 RPM to get the Volts back.
