Do you guys know if the JCW brace will clear the K&N typhoon intake? It looks that it is about the same height as the JCW CAI in which case it should work. I just need to know for sure.

Yes it will, i just took mine off, Do you know anyone that wants to buy a Typhoon intake with 2 filters and a cleaner kit?!?

 

old thread, but what intake did you switch too. i already have a K&N typhon but im already thinking about getting a different one haha. did you stick with the jcw brace or did you change that too?

 

Just finished installing the Mini Mania JCW strut brace around my K & N Typhoon air filter. About 1/2 inch to spare.

I also noted that the strut box was a BMW parts box. probably could have bought it a lot cheaper from my local BMW dealer.

Also note that Mini Mania gets quite a bit more than $296 for their JCW strut brace. Maybe a good sale price, but not normal retail.
