I cant say anything about other DPs but I love my ED DP and notice a power gain from it. Especially with ZERO CELs.

To be honest, I wasn't able to hear a difference in sound from the DP alone since I also installed the catback at the same time. The car sounds beautiful with the removeable resonator off.

There is some drone at highway speeds under load (3+ ppl) but I'm sure you can get rid of it with the resonator installed. However, when I am by myself, there is no drone. ( Able to talk on the phone with ease on the highway)

You can hear the difference http://www.exhaustdepot.net/r5micotucasy.html

I am very happy with my ED Catted and coated DP, and it sounds very aggressive.

it's a 1.6 in the end.. there's only so much an exhaust can do...

but if u want "loud"

then go straight pipe all teh way to the rear muffler..

no resonator, no Cats..

2.5" or 3" turbo back..

Sounds like you already made up your mind for a catless system. Be aware you're not street legal anymore. That's the price of admission. You can very well go without a resonator, but make sure you get a reasonably sized straight flow through muffler or else you're going to be bringing a lot of unwanted attention to your car.

i have one that i used for about 2 months before going in a different route. I have a Riss Racing DP and full exhaust with two resonator's on it. If interested give me a call. The reason i have it for sale, is because i changed my turbo and had to go to a different fitting DP and Exhaust.

ED very good company though I did not like the shop. I think no matter what DP you get you should look into the o2 sim, well mayb wait until the bugs are fixed at least. The other thing I like about ED's Dps are the fact that you can get it either powder or ceramic coated. If I get one, which I almost did, I am going to have it powder coated. It has similar benefits to ceramic coating but, it is faster and cheaper.
