Water/Meth Injection For The Track

First off, I want to say what a great forum this is. I lurked here for a while getting vital info on helping me make a sound decision on getting my '06 MCS a few weeks a go. Thanks NAM!

Now onto business. I will be putting the usual CAI, 15% pulley and exhaust along with suspension and brakes. The car will be tracked about 15 times a year mostly at Summit Point with a couple at VIR, NJMSP.

I'm looking for good reliable cooling that will take the tack abuse and still be driven daily. I had WI on my supercharged non-intercooled Miata and it worked like a charm for me. I'm wondering if the Mini will take as well to that or is an upgraded IC the real way to go.

Mind you, I'm not looking to extract the last bit of HP but looking for reliability and durability.

Thanks
Mio

I ran an Aquamist setup on my Miata and really liked it.

Jan, I would be very interested in your setup and a remote tune. I will call you later today to discuss.

Thanks

Thanks for the input guys. I decided on the RMW/Howerton Engineering HFS-2 system (http://www.howertonengineering.com/a...t_systems.html). Seems well thought out, will serve my purpose for the track and the price was reasonable. Also, i can upgrade later to a HFS-3 if I choose, but for now, it will do.

I'd love the RMW kit. I simply can't afford it. Anyone use one of these?

The kit I got is the HFS-2 which is $499. A hundred bucks more for a well engineered, plug and play and easily upgradeable system. $100 is nothing to sneeze at but it seemed worth while to me.

Thank you. Is it made with the install oriented towards Mini? You would't have a link per chance?

I just ordered the HFS-3. I can't wait to get it in and get it tuned. It looks like a fun little project.
