Catch Can, Dual Boost Tap and DOS intake!
Just got my Catch Can, Dual boost tap, and DoS intake installed, attached a few pics as I have opted for a different install location so the hoses do not stretch all the way across the engine bay. I just made up a quick new bracket for the install and picked up a 90 deg joint for the hose. Cant wait to see what will be inside after some drivin!

LMAO! One of us is a mind reader. I did the exact same thing when I put on my DoS CAI. Only difference is I used the 42 Draft Design can instead of the BSH. Sure makes it easy to get at, don't it? BTW, when I changed my IC I checked all the turbo pluming down stream from the can. After 5K it was bone dry and the OEM IC had oil in the bottom of it.

Did indeed, but definitely not for looks. It's to reflect radiant heat from the turbo & engine and give some insulation from the hot air blasting through the engine bay. I'm not into "bling", just performance.

Give it 3 back to back proper Seafoam treatments and then put on the OCC. That'll take care of the carbon build up on the intake valves and the OCC will slow further build up waaay down. Good Luck!

A lot of the carbon gets really caked on over time. The only way to truly clean the valves is to remove the runners and soak the valves with seafoam for 30min and scrub them with a wirebrush. You can only do 2 cylinders at a time and then rotate the crank to close the valves on the other 2 cylinders. This is the procedure we use at Lexus dealerships.

Is that boost tap thing necessary with the occ? Saw it on the BSH site but didnt explain what it does.

What's in your CC?
I installed my BSH CC in May and checked it once this summer. It had about 1/2 cup junk (oil & water) in it. I checked the oil in Sunny today, and while I had the hood(bonnet?) up, I pulled the dip stick on the cc. It looked like it said full!
So I pulled it off and emptied it. I got over 1 cup water with a bit of oil. I believe the changing temperatures caused more condensation than in the summer. I usually check the oil every two weeks, I guess I must empty the CC at the same time!

I checked it today and it was about a quarter pint of stuff in it. I will now check it weekly since it is cold!

I bought my MCS a year ago with 30k miles on it. It now has 44k miles on it. Since I purchased it I have done three or four seafoam treatments through the PCV to try and clean any carbon buildup that occurred during the first 30k prior to my ownership. Does installing an OCC as this mileage do me any good at this mileage or has the carbon already coated everything?
I just looked under the hood to see where the can mounts and how to run the tubes and I tried removing the tube and cannot get the end that connects to the turbo inlet to come loose. I pulled so hard that some of the other rubber tubing connections near the turbo almost came apart. Any tricks to getting the bottom end off?
