Well, after reading through 50 pages of this thread, I went ahead last week and ordered the scan tool from RMW. Jan responded quickly and the tool showed up at my door on Monday.

I went ahead, downloaded the original map from the car and emailed it to Jan. Within a few hours, I had my mod file in my inbox. Upload to car went as smooth as download.

After driving the car now for the last couple of days, I can say that I truly love the RMW tune. The car runs really smooth, idles even, and runs great. Did I mention the extra torque ?

All I can say is 'Wow' !!! Car feels really good and pulls non-stop to red line. Can't wait to stretch it's legs at the track next month. My RE11s will get a run for their money.

Thanks Jan.

Extra torque indeed! Jan's tune jumped the torque so much my old CF STB couldn't handle it. Was a real handful on full chat. Dumped the CF bar and put on NM's STB. Now all is happy again. Only complaint I've got about the tune is that the tires seem to be wearing out a lot faster, LOL!

How are you non-LSD guys doing with the torque steer are you starting to spin the tires easily? I have the LSD, and it becomes a handful to handle in 2nd gear when I stomp it.

Haha, don't have LSD here but I have factory 17" rims so 2nd gear has a bit of torque steer but can be easily handled. Can't say anything for 1st gear because I have the 1st gear limiter which makes the car feel dead in 1st =(.

Once Jan starts updating tunes and removes the 1st gear limiter, 1st gear would would rip like a mad man! .

At least Im not the only one. I have 18x8 wheels on the front and it becomes a problem quick which is surprising to me.

I too, have the 1st gear limiter I didnt know that was in place at first because I stomped on it, and boost hits, then falls on its face haha.

Im more interested in hearing the pop and burble on my catless factory JCW exhaust to see what it sounds like...so exciting! I wonder what sort of ETA we are looking at for these changes

I just flashed mine. I could already feel the difference just rolling through my parking garage!

Very pleased, thanks Jan.

I have to say it's best to keep both hands firmly on the wheel while powering through second and third gear. The torque steer no longer favors a side. It can go either way...

For those of you with torque steer issues....are you on stock suspension?

I have hardly any...and the only thing I can attribute that to would be that my car is lowered, and the Mach V's are pretty stiff.

I have torque steer, but its managed pretty well by the weakling LSD and grippy wide tires. No complaints here. I'm on all stock suspension btw.

LSD, H&R springs, front and rear sway bar. Sticky 215s

Im not on stock suspension with mine. LSD, and Koni Coilovers that are bottomed out in the front may attribute to it though. I thought I would have some problems with my huge wheels spinning, but I guess not

How would this first gear limiter work on an
auto or would there even be one?

Also, racequeenz I think you meant bsh occ in your sig and not bhs unless they changed their name

Ok, this topic has been brought up by and many others after the tune. I just put stock mapping on car to take to dealer tomorrow. All I can say is wow! How did I ever drive it before

so others have expressed dull/ hesitation spots at certain RPMs after the tune. Well always the answer I have gotten is sea foam it! I find that hard to believe on a car with a little over
15k on the odometer. That being said after stock map uploaded and driven for awhile there was NO dull/ hesitation at all in any gear. Just a refresher my problem is around 2600 to 3200 rpm in any given gear and is quiutr annoying.

Maybe I should not complain since it is a canned tune but still alot of money dropped. Dont get me wrong, still better to drive
maybe it will be possible if we can get Jan out here in Colorado fir a group tune and get this fixed.

I feel like the wastegate opens and closes in those rpms causing this issue?

Jan? Anyone else chime in on this issue?
Thanks. - J

Can anyone (Jan) chime in on this?

Thanks
