230 whp help

Hi,

Right now I have about 200 whp, but i would like a bit more. I have a 2006 MCS JCW with alta's replacement filter and inlet hose, grs intercooler, 17% alta pulley and belt, obx headers and a tune.

What do I need next to get to the 230 whp club. Cam?

Thanks

You need and so do I: A big valve cylinder head. A camshaft couldn't hurt you either. There's a few vendors here on NAM that could hook you up.

BVH and cam, along with another tune to pull it all together. 230+ whp. What size injectors do you have now?

That's the size that comes with the JCW kit, you may need to increase the size, talk to your tuner.

Like others have said, a BV head and some larger injectors should get you to 230+. My car with the RMW streetcam, 15% and tune was at 222whp, but now with the RMW head and Aquamist it should be over 250 once I get it tuned. Hopefully I can scrape enough $$ together to pick up the RMW race cam before Jan comes out East

Who did your tune? I have a 2006 JCw with RMW cam and header, stock pulley and intercooler and I'm already at 223 WHP. In fact, my pre-tune WHP with just the cam and header was 200.

Adding a BVH and a cam w/tune should net you well over 230whp.

this also entirely depends on *whose* dyno you want to read "230".

Not all 230's are created equal.

i have the RMW Cam/Header/tune/380s plus all the other standard mini mods(15% pulley) etc and im pulling 217 on a non jcw S so 230 is certainly in the realm of possibility...talk to jan about the cam and a few other things and see if you can break 230...once i replace the clutch/flywheel in my car and get her squared away im gonna try for 230+
