I got back from Vegas last night (the strippers, blackjack dealers, and con-men didn't quite deplete me of all my funds). SEMA was AWESOME!!!! Granted, much of it seemed like the world's largest Pep Boys store, but there were gems as well. Here's a few pics and the directory where you'll find more:

Thanks for the picts- very nice.
The purple MINI was a bit over painted but that's how showcars are- the interior was extensively redone.

The LY MINI's rear seat was swallowed up with a wall of "sound". You might get a heart attack driving with that sub pounding down on you. Like going to a rock concert and standing next to and in front of the speaker stack.

The Cobra is well... da bomb.

I saw that purple mini in the "street glow" booth. I could only stand to be next to it for a minute. I think all those strobe lights were starting to change the alpha wave patterns in my brain!

If you have more of that first pic you showed at the bottom of the display were IMO the ugliest chrome overlays for the front headlights ever created. Think of chrome " fire" reaching up from the bottom of the light and you get the picture. This company has been making a lot of items for hondas and PT cruisers, what a suprise. The really interesting items were hidden in the small booths , wait till you see whats coming once distribution is set up. hmmmmmm good! Randy

Sorry for the redicu-pose, It seemed appropriate at the time. Some day my cavalier use of sign language slang is going to get me killed, but I figure I'm pretty safe in Vegas: The most dangerous thing on those streets are the fourty-something cocktail waitresses.

Thanks for the info vdubdoug

But do you have more information about the engine set up on this Mini?

Looks like this MINI Cooper has a cool set-up

There is a long story behind that car which i will not go into. The car has a turbo set up and is making 230whp (I believe) on low boost. There are mixed fealings about the car's build Quality and Power output depending on who you talk to.

And that is all I am going to say

If you goto http://www.promini.com/projectcar.shtml you can download the complete specs of both of our projects MINIs.

There will be independent reviews of the car done as well once the kit is completely finished and tested.

Yeah, there's some silly stuff out there! Some should have never left the garage they were built in, but they did!

Here's a few more pics if anyone is interested:

Enjoy!

It's so weird to see people that you've only dealt with on the phone or email (Eric from Helix with the gettttto MINI), it all makes sense now...

The world gets smaller everyday.

Anyway, cheerio,

In the pictures that outmotoring put I saw my friend's car. The Blue Cooper with the scissor style doors, and they have a custom turbo kit in it. I just got a ride in it today. Very nice
