Hey, guys was up visiting Peter (Minspeed) today (MCS needs a clutch) and apparently he is clearing out his inventory.

Bunch of people there today picking up stuff.

 

Yeah, total bummer....

Already ordered a set of leather down tubes and leather inside door grab wraps.

Gonna miss them as I have bought lots of stuff from him over the years and has always been a fantastic vendor.

too bad I bought the oem start button panel from them.

 

I picked up a clutch, stubby antenna and some dodads lol

Was putting several items on my holiday list from them - then saw the "important announcement" notice - then today (guess it's official ):

Peter told me but its not place to say. Let me say that the guys that picked up Minspeed are well known to the board and I never heard a bad thing about them while a member on NAM.

Peter truly loved the business he developed and would only sell the business to people that felt the same way about Minis and the people who drive them. I am sure they will make an announcement and I don't want to steal their thunder.

The next time you have beer in your hand, raise your glass to Peter and Minspeed. Cheers to Peter and Minspeed.

 

Sad day....the site has been all but shutdown.....I'm pretty sure I know the buyer of his excess stock....If it is who I think it is, they should do a good job continuing with what is left, and their own stuff.

That sucks. I always had good service from them over the years, and they had the coolest business cards around.
