for the roof. In my opinion the stripe wipes out the "lines" of the car and that's what you end up seeing is the stripe.

Good point. The more I've looked at though out the day today the more i'm not sure. The roof and hood are a go for sure.

I agree with leaving the side-stripe off. I think side stripes can look good on non-black minis to blend the arches with the car, but there is really no need with yours. You could put "350 WHP" on the roof in the style of the GP numbering.

If you want something on the side of the car, you need to keep it low. Otherwise you lose the low rake lines of the car. A almost good example was "The Widow" but there were too many decals at too big a contrast (white decals). If he would have done them in almost a ghost dk grey I think it would have been perfect. Just my opinion.
