I don't think that will fit in a MINI though. 3.2L 60degree V12, 6 carbs

I had that DEI lava rock crap on mine, it started to fall apart after about a month of use. When I took it off last weekend the inner layers where burned black and turning to ash.

Hey--
Glad to see you made it back! Can't wait to see your build....

I'll have to vicariously enjoy the hot-rodding of your MINI, since I'm kinda tapped out at the moment and won't be able to afford go-fast goodies for mine for a while, thanks to buying mine a nice 2-car garage (with some attached living space for my cats and I)....

Interesting. My last wrap lasted a long time until It got soaked in coolant.

Mine got a little coolent on it too but, all around the collector started to turn black and just fall apart when you touch it.

Off topic: Hey Joe, my buildup has already begun. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ntinued-2.html Is the current thread, back in October I had one called 2 Weeks To Work On The MINI.

I used that DEI stuff on my last race header and it worked fine until I removed the header. I think after many many heat cycles it became brittle and was easy to rip off. I dont know if its the product itself or if it needed to be sprayed with something post-install. But it worked fine until I man-handled it.

I was thinking about re doing it since I have an extra roll, then going back over it with the original fiberglass stuff. I've got the fiberglass over the rest of the exhaust and it has held up great for the last 2 years.

The manufacturer is Sonar. They can be found on eBay. I wanted Joey mod my lights then ran into these.

Car's looking a bit dirty their longboard.... Might want to close your hood properly as well, it's not caught on the right side looking at that front on pic

Those lights look really good! Wish they would hurry up and make R56 ones< $1200 for factory black ones is a bit rich!

Here is a $hity iPhone pic in my garage. It doesn't do the the LED strip justic as it bleeds out using my iPhone. Let's just say it looks just like an Audi in day light. I was worried they might look cheesy but they look awesome.

Sorry LB but, I think that I like the stock facelift halogens better. Just my opinion though, when has that mattered anyhow. As long as you are happy with it.
