WOW 351HP on 91 pump gas!!! Now thats amazing. To put it into prespective the '05 EVO I had dynoed at 325HP and ran a 12.8 quarter.

If you used 100oct or C16 the numbers would be even better, or if E85 would catch on in our culture (after some bigger ingectors) you could probably see allmost 400HP with this setup.

Great job on the build LB and Jan, it looks like you got what you payed for.

it was 91 and about 20% methanol

E85 would probably get us closer but he needs to update the fuel system
fuel pump can't keep up so we stopped rev'ing it

fun project though........... just for kicks........ inlet temps were 19C at the end of the run with the meth spraying...............66.2degF
the 1.8L swallows the air much better than the 1.6L
we were down about 3lbs of boost but you can still see the difference of our stroker combo in the torque department. There is still more in the car but this is running down at 11.5 to 11 which is very rich for a Rotrex car. We tuned it for long term abuse not for the race track

for LB to go to the next level it's now bigger header/exhaust/fuel system to start
which = $$$$$$$$
based on riding in the car I would upgrade the suspension next.......LOL
overall the project turned out better than expectations
to put it into perspective
the turbo kit out there running with the waste gate pulled on our dyno on C16 only made 375whp and it doesn't spool to 5000 rpms

watch what's coming in the next few weeks............

Get one of these things custom made by getrag and you'd have a mean(er) machine:
http://www.motoringfile.com/2004/10/...el_drive_mini/ (or hundreds of other hits on google)
Can we say... Group B rally power/weight/insanity?

A 400whp pump gas DD.......... I wonder if my 62 year old wife could handle it? ............ it would be me that needs an adjustment.... the suit with the big red "S" doesn't fit anymore.....It's agood thing LB has his head bolted on well as this project is demanding more attention.

That is NOT an image I need right now.

Not to stray too far off topic, but did you get a new tune yet?

330 on pump gas is darn impressive. TVS? or is that too far in the future..... The rotrex may be over achieved but WHAT A RUN!
Some, almost all young, say the SC has passed. From what I see, turbo Hondas, the hardware is fair to good, the management..... I won't go there. Bottom line, they have many more tuning issues than SC..... I own a Japanese car with an MP45 on it, 76k with just a fuel control - no tuning issues.
It's good that you have a person like LB that's this hungry..... Long live the SC

Fishead 1 will chime in soon.... he's on 300 or bust ( it's a kind of new left )..... diffinately a mission

More manufacturer's are going to supercharger's -ZR1 and the new Audi. I like the idea of less heat and less piping.

Wow much tq does your 2.0 have compared to LB?

CONGRATS to the Project Team!
Your the only one that noticed what I think is the best the part. That Tq and the curve that goes with it is just awesome to drive.

The car hits 3k and just pulls so hard till redline under full throttle. Back when I had the 1.6L I would tell people how usable the power was. Now with the 1.8L I just have more of it starting lower in the power band just like I wanted.

The car really does have two personalities. It's so smooth at slow speeds you can just cruz and listen to the radio. Then when it's time to hammer it the thing becomes a rocket.

The Rotrex is almost silent which fools a lot people . The dyno was packed Saturday with three dyno's running and multiple people waiting for each one. My car sounds like a deep, naturally aspirated car. When we made runs every one would look and listen. On about the third pull a few people came over to see what we were putting down. Once they saw the numbers you should have seen the their faces . It was classic as they had no clue Mini's could put down power like that.
