Here is a challenge for you mate why don’t you run your world’s fastest Mini in the 1/4 against an American muscle car like a 1970 SS Chevelle with a 454 Big Block? Of course the Chevelle will also have "a little" after market power mods just like your not so stock Mini but since you have the world’s fastest mini it should not matter.
Many have told you many times the mini is a TRACK car not a 1/4 mile car ! Paul what value or information do any of your post really add or have to do with this topic or most topics? Nothing,,,scram,,,,beat it. Stop bashing it is getting old now we all know your M.O. and story.

Remember it's not a race car and I don't build nor want a basket case. It needs to done right the first time.
I saw pics last night. Everything is all back together. Danny builds everything off the car then slides it back in. That is happening as I write.
I was going to take the day off and go up and start it today but unfortunately I can't leave work today. I needed to bring Danny the Rotrex traction fluid. I forgot to put the bottle in the car
. I leave tomorrow to China for a week so you will all have to wait another week. I don't want the car started for the first time unless I am their

I personally love Longboards car and his / Jan's acomplishments with it over the last couple of years.
But if you note I'm not as childish as Jan to put in lines in his sig like he does, I dont report it but if you cant take it dont dish it, who else would that refer to
What you have to remember that we just dont do the road course thing we run our Mini's at road course's / drag strips / dyno days etc etc
As in many things everyone has opinon on what is right and what is wrong and i'm afraid Chili_Mini_PA is wrong as our Mini draws alot of attention at the drag strip and last year min attendance at a meeting was 5000 with a max of 20,000.
Also at Mini In the Park I wasn't alone as there was about 30 MINI's running up the dragstrip so unfortunatley on a factual basis your statement is wrong.

With all due respect, not really, on this side of the pond we know that the Mini is not a 1/4 mile drag strip car. So we really don’t give a rats a$$ what your car does in the 1/2 mile. It would be like running one of your countries precious stock or modded Rolls Royce’s on an autocross or F1 track.

Thanks for the kind words on my car Paul. It's been a fun ride and as you know I love that it's different. Thats what makes it so cool. At least to me and thats all that counts.
As for you and Jan you both are at fault and all of us would rather not hear the same argument over and over. I agree it takes 2 to tango but in the end it just takes one of you to make it all stop

i haven't been on NAM in a while... I just read this entire thread hoping to see a happy ending only to be left hanging. I was impressed with you old car and now I can't wait to see what kind of monster you end up with. I really wish my MINI wasn't my daily, not that I would spend that kind of cash getting it to the level you are at but.....

I think he's hiding in the engine bay polishing every nut, screw, washer, etc. He's back, but you know he won't say anything until he's ready. I know when he's ready we will see some nice vid's.
