What do you guys think of this? Gun metal roof color with hood graphic? I love it . Black56S did the photo shop and hood design. It's a little hard to get the full idea as the pic I sent him was a little dark. You can see he added Rotrex in the hood graphic.
Dat is sweet. I like subtle and the muscle car-ish hood. I also vote for no stripe on the, but only a tasteful alpha-numeric graphic.

^^ The gunmetal would look GREAT. Under stated = bestness, elegant & tuff all at the same time.... Now, what kind of shoes are you going to wear when the car is done? White snake skin? Under statement with a statement?

Looking good, looking good..............

I hope it's better than the one you have now. Nice for the street, but not the best for the track. More than 2 turnbuckles for support?

I just got the hardware for the Group 4 splitter (splitter itself isn't here yet, long story I'll tell some other time. Let's just say UPS is a little dyslexic when it comes to packages marked "fragile"...), and it's very robust. Looks more like adjustable endlinks than a turnbuckle. There are a couple of different ways to mount it solidly (Such as running a thin strip of aluminum behind the grill; I'm pretty sure that's what Graham/Track-Toy did).

I've seen pics of the new(er) splitter Jan/Ian/Group 4 are working together on; it looks very promising, a bit more solid of a piece.

Anyway, as much as I'd like to put a splitter on an never worry about it ever again, if you're using a splitter on the track, I kind of think of it like brake pads--it's eventually going to need to be replaced. When this one goes, I'll probably put the one Jan/Group 4 is working on now for the race car.

But if you're excited about the splitter, keep your eyes peeled, they've got some other goodies on the way, can't wait to get my hands on some of that stuff....

I sure don't see a trailer or a truck for that matter here. This is what it is like to be a community. No bias just appreciation of the automobile, and good ol' x-country cruising. It was pretty fun cruising with you Jan.

That would have been one hell of a fuel bill too. We were getting in the neighborhood of 30mpg.

Jan,

Both cars are all ready for the track with lots of great RMW goodies including your remote meth tune, but....
Unfortunately had a major issue with one of my other cars and a massive truck...and the truck won in the end

It as taken my body and mind awhile to recover but almost like new again. Should be at the track soon, just have to get my ***** back. (hope this won't get me into trouble but it is the truth).

Jan will also be contacting you shortly for a more aggressive remote tune

Longboard sorry for the off topic.
Manuel

Ya I was in Asia. Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore and Australia in 14 days. And I missed mothers day .

You couldn't pay me enough to drive that far. I might do it in my wife's BMW convert but thats a big might . I told Jan he was crazy driving his car. I would have taken his wife 135I. Crazy fast yet comfortable.

Hey Larry? I thought Group 4 was going to show some new stuff at he Dragon but i can't find anything. Have you seem any pics?
