these billett cranks will be able to be made from 1.6L all the way to 2.0L
I have heard the oil holes have put in now and the cranks are in the heat treating process again. Final finishing will be next week barring some unknown hold up
My Dad and I got back our crankshaft from machine shop in the late winter(Classic Mini). Hopefully by next summer it'll be spinning in our Turbo 1293cc. New A+ crank with 2" mains, 1.75" big ends, heat treated, modestly lightened/balanced, and oil ways worked over. With the 4 bolt center main cap it'll be good up to 7500rpm!

So Lets ask this.
Whats the added benifit of buying one of these cranks for a 1.6
Over the stock one that is also forged?
whats this suppose to cost 1500-2000?

should be stronger than the factory one
we can have them knife edged for racing , but the big advantage is the custom strokes that we can provide
Where you will see the bigger gains is when you shove more air through it compared to a 1.6L. The m45 is small but if you put a Rotrex or TVS on it watch out. For example the 2.0L with ONLY 13psi of boost and a turbo made 365whp and 308tq . NO 1.6L will get close to that hp/tq with such little boost
Paul your so perky How do you do it?
And how do you figure it shat its self.
Besides. The only way to find out how strong a motor is, Well blowing it up
You've blown up motors right?
