Zoomers Exhuast System

Hey guyss,

I just recently bought a Zoomers Exhuast system for $250 from a guy .. and when i look thru the forum about it, ppl heard its 'kinda loud', well let me tell you guys FIRST HANDED, it isnt KINDA Loud, itz just LOUD. I mean wow, at just 2400RPM, this thing just starts growling and vibrating my whole car! the sounds honestly reminds me of the Subaru STI exhuast. haha BUT wow! what a difference it made in my car. Well, there's some pictures of it here, and i'm planning to put some video clips or sounds clips in too when i get to a chance to find a good empty place to make the sounds hahah

Oh btw, it hangs a bit low because i dont have the inner hangers on because i lost them =[ does anyone know where to get them besides the dealer? they alwayz ripping me off ><

HERES SOUND/VIDEO CLIPS as PROMISED lol, hope itz good

sounds awesome. I'd be careful running without the inner hangers. The exhaust bouncing around will break the header welds in no time.

Sounds good and raw, that is a great track catback.

I would not drive the car at all without those hangers, you are stressing it as it was not intended to be stressed. It can't hold together for long.

Get the part numbers from RealOEM.com, then call Morristown MINI parts, and ask for the NAM discount. Good Luck.

From the website they are 3.5" diameter, so yeah........huge. Looks good though. Also, on the website the system only has the resonator it does not have any rear cans/silencers at all. I bet that will wake the neighbors.

I think the tips are so large because they are resonator tips--check out the perforations in those last few photos!
I guess I thought they were a little smaller than mine but it could be due to them be square-cut rather than angle-cut as are mine.

hahah yes they are 3.5" tips, about the same as a borla? and yeah since this is the first one that was made (bought it off a guy who offered his car as a test car for the first zoomer exhuast), and dr. phil is right, they are resonator tips, so they're pretty loud hahah as long as i keep the rpm low (2500) it wont wake up the neighbors ;]

So, being resonator tips, I think the intended effect is to lower the tone of the exhaust sound right. It does not really change the db level, just lowers the frequency. So, makes it easier to set off car alarms in parking garages.

Anyway, they look damn good, slant would be better though.

That is one loud *****! I love the exhaust note. Sounds great and looks great.
You might want to fix that hanger issue, people might think it's rice.

I don't know what I want to do to the clubman yet. Just got some Kazera KZ-J wheels and some Bridgestone Potenza tires for it although we won't have it for another month or so.

I like the dragstrip, good cheap fun and a car show where you actually can see and hear the cars perform.

If you paid $250 for it, then you have a good deal as they want $200 for only the tips.
