"Here was the 1st R56 on the dyno for tuning.............. The car was stock
Follow the thread for updates............"

Sorry, I don't know much about cars; the MINI is the first car I cared enough about to be interested in performance. What exactly is being done to the car?

Thanks!

I know what 238lbs of torque feels like in a r56 as I had that when I first got the unichip. It's AWESOME. I could spin the tires in third gear.

Good job Jan! I can't wait to see your results on the JCW!
(mine arrived at the dealership yesterday)

Wow Jan, that is one intentionally bad picture.

Good to see your getting the 09 JCW to tune.

Do you want to entertain coming to Denver to do a R56 tune, if we can get enough folks interested, perhaps even some R53 folks might want to give it a go?

Let me know.

you 'chirp' using the clutch. I'd SPIN just mashing the pedal - no clutch involved.

No clutch tricks, just power-shifting, but I get what your saying now, LOL, I'll never know 238 lb ft of torque in a R53 (even with Jan's magic).

Hey Jan, for the event in Louisville in June, is it still the $800 including dyno? Last I heard, a set price hadn't been agreed upon. I'm definitely down, though.

Edit: Whoops nevermind, I'll take this question to proper thread. Didn't realize they'd started one on NAM.
