So while they'll work well now there isn't any real advantage in them until you get to a lot bigger HP and you'll already have them?

somewhere along those lines minimarks...

If I were going for RMW's tune then I'd probably get 440cc....but since I will be going for Mynes (still waiting for their remote flash tool to be up and running), hence the decision to go 550cc..

Not true... if you know how to drive id take the 210hp motor... as will many pros because they do most of their work in the higher RPM's where HP is more important...

That was a " deal " according to them . If cheep or free parts help the bottom line then that is not a bad thing with this type of operation. Also as was noted earlier there are no " check engine lights " on a race car .

Gee Randy . . . you are kind of throwing me under the bus here. I'm not really sure why. Let's talk some facts . . . You and I spoke a long while ago and i BOUGHT from you a DFIC. Guess what? It didn't work! I resold it for
$200. You were a hell a salesman though . . . I certainly thought it was going to work.

Grand Am IS a pay to drive series. 90% the drivers pay for their seats and $8k IS A DEAL. But then, you wouldn't know about that would you.

Please tell me who is giving me free parts because I want to call them tonight!! I pay . . . and pay dearly for the parts that work. The ones that don't, I resell . . . see above.

The other Randy

PS: Please leave me and my team out of your petty squabbles. The truth is painful. See above.

I don't see where I threw you under any bus as you are agreeing with me on pretty much everything I said .

Your team is a business and drivers pay to drive the cars

I never said you were getting free parts but that if a " for profit " team was to get free or cheep parts is would help the bottom line . Is that not a true statement ?

8k is a deal you usually charge 10k but what do i know

As for the DFIC not working out for you I am sorry about that you should have let me know as a " good salesman " I could have got a lot more than $ 200 for you .

As for the P.S I wasn't the one that brought your team into this thread.

I recently had the RMW header put on my GP. I can definately tell the difference in the power and sound ,it sounds great and the car is definately Faster. I have had 3 different people drive my car that had driven it stock and all of them agree the same. For me it was $850 well spent. My next Modification will be the RMW Cam and a "Jan Tune" Looking forward to both.

The new Turbo Diesels have came a long way since the 80's even. Heck, I've seen Cummins powered Rams tearing up dragstrips.
Heh, true. I own one. Not uncommon to see an 8000 pound diesel truck run high 11s to low 12s on the drag strip. They've got highly modified vehicles with Cummins and Duramax diesels doing 6s and 7s.

Hey! That's awesome... now post before/after Dyno charts.

I felt the same way after putting just the header on.

Butt dynos are so cool!
