I might try to see how much power I can squeeze out of the stock manifold with a big valve head. Not sure how far anyone has gone with this before?

Looks like you'll get your new shiney Mynes header the end of April early May. But you knew that

How many cars do you know making 220/183 with stock head and header?
This is true, your cars making amazing numbers! I'm kinda lumped in the group of people that don't know what to make of it.... It is weird.

Here's a car making similar numbers to yours with a stock header. We shall see what it does after the RMW header is installed. I know I'm curious now

I am looking forward to seeing your update also. Before/After tune possibly??

Yes - I am on a waiting list for a header! That information is public obviously

It will not be going on my car in the current status that it is in either. The stock head will not see another header again in its lifetime on my motor. It will probably used as a core and maybe be on someones car in the future though?

This is a professional race team that is also a business. It's drivers are mostly " pay to play " types and RSR is one of the few teams turning a profit . Yes I am sure they want to win but they have other priorities. Case in point they offered a local hot shoe a drive at a past race and said by they way bring $ 8,000 for the weekend. That was a " deal " according to them . If cheep or free parts help the bottom line then that is not a bad thing with this type of operation. Also as was noted earlier there are no " check engine lights " on a race car .

Sorry - mis-read, that is someone others vehicle making very nice torque numbers.

Is that a stock head and internals car or is there some nice modifications under its belt?

Ahhh got it, thanks
Gets confusing when you have to sift through the BS to get the facts...

And what do you make of the torque curves? ~ -40 tq? or ~ -40wtq? did you see this car get dyno'd? something happen?

I was there when it was dyno'd. Sorry I'm not getting what your question is or where your getting -40 torque from

Are you going to get a red one, or a green one? Or maybe a black light...ooow, scary

Ah, sorry, it's Friday afternoon and I just needed to be a little flippant... I just read your sentence literally.

Are you asking why it drops towards redline? I haven't seen a graph yet where the torque runs constant all the way to redline

Kinda like there's a variation in M3NTALs of about 30 or so torque right?

Different dynos? Altitude? Car? ...who knows

Understandable, and yes there will be a torque drop from max to rev, however ~40 tq loss is significant and shouldn't be overlooked... I most certainly wouldn't accept that much loss everytime i passed 5K rpm... but that's me.

Is it possible you may also '...have no idea how the math works or doesn't work...' when it comes to the delta of the graphs that M3NTAL has spent his time and money to get and share? Its information, take it or leave it...

No need for the hostility guys - I am fine answering all the questions on here. I'm just an average everyday guy just wanting a car to run like stock and make power to hang with those pesky supercharged Lotus vehicles...

My arch nemesis!

lol im not even gonna start...people constantly crying about the SES light...for cripes sakes its just a nuisance...been running with that light on for months with no problem at all...and seriously this data can only be taken with a grain of salt because there is no consistant data from more than one vehicle to prove this fact...like what some have posted in here there would have to be a test of in the same conditions with the same set up and etc to get a consensus...plus every mini engine is diff...some respond stronger than others...just take a look at Kelli Viselli's MINI...fact is this is just more fuel to the fire
