Question about fitment - ALTA Boost Port Adapter and AGS-R

Does the placement of the boost port adapter interfere with the placement of the AGS-R over the engine bay when installed? Will they touch or will they not even fit together? Anyone know?

Thanks in advance.

you have to trim out the bottom of the Ags-r if not you can't run the strut
brace and it will vibrate or buzz under heavy load. if you run the m7 strut brace i also had to trim out for the little brow or snail looking protrusion
on the back side of the valve cover,

Sorry I wasn't able to answer this question for you. Sounds like others have had more problems with the intake itself, let alone combining the two.

If you do get a clear answer, PLEASE let me know and I will add it to the compatibility note.

Thanks again!

Yeah, unfortunately, it's a great intake system, but poorly designed - it does make too much noise in the engine bay.

Adam, I will let you know. Over time, I have come to realize that the rattling and constant modding of the intake is more troublesome and annoying than anything. I wish you made a RAM air style intake!

FWIW (later searchers) it doesnt fit too well with the Super AGS either... i simply cut 2" of 1" dia coolant-type hose, then cut down the side and blanketed the boost port and wrapped a zip tie around in case. The sound is gone and im happy

edit: I should say the AGS doesnt fit to well with the boost port, not the other way lol

Thats too far away! With Jan's tune, I need to be able to get the best results possible and I'm seriously contemplating the DDMworks now, with a GTspec strut bar. Is it summer? PM me if possible.

Will it be a DDM style system that fits correctly with no issues with strut bars and misc engine components?
