Showed one of my buddys the exhaust yesterday and he said "that is the nicest exhaust i've ever heard." I seem to be hearing that a lot with it!

Yes, the sound is good and it modulates well. Are you running the resonator/muffler?

I see Hector dropped by and now has dropped out again. That guy has way to much vacation time.

So from what I can tell, it sounds like the magnaflow mufflers being used are interchangeable as mufflers and resonators. Is this correct? Here are a couple of whacky ideas. These are just thoughts, I don't need any death threats from crazy NAMers. Could you not just use the resonator section as the sole muffler instead of going with a no resonator system and muffler on the end? I would think this would keep the sound some people like from the res-free setup but possibly reduce the drone. Any thoughts?

I'd just visit a local muffler shop and get something custom made, I'm pretty sure he's closed up shop. The phone was disconnected over a year ago and it was a heavy clunky system.

I still love the sound. I started with a straight pipe to a magnaflow box, then added a resonator when the drone was too much. resonator helped for a few days, then once it settled it was the same drone. I'm more okay with it, its the gf that is tired of it on long highway trips.

Mine is a custom system btw, not one of hectors. I don't believe hes still in business. Either that or not a paying vendor anymore. I think his website may still be up. But yeah, just go custom route, about $350-400 out the door. Damn good price for an exhaust
