CryO2 Cryogenic Air Intake

Anyone use one of these? I'm thinking about trying it out.

I've seen them on the IC

as a "sprayer" to cool the IC to the same effect. Whatever you do, make sure you can't injest any of the CO2.... that will displace oxygen and drop power.

Also, this item looks like it would fit best between the filter and the TB. I think this tech would work better post SC, after getting heated.

It works and some have played w/ similar but it is a "short lived" gain.

My thoughts would be to go the water/meth injection route.

Well I would be using nitrous not CO2. I am currently spraying the intercooler with the spray bars. If I add this I would use them both at the same time. Then I would be spraying pre supercharger and post supercharger. It would only be for occasional trips to the drag strip.

If you are using a spray bar you cannot use CO2. You WILL suck it up and you WILL lose horsepower.

Some of DEI's stuff is nice, but the Cryo2 stuff is not. Just invest in a nice progressive water/meth setup with a big tank.

I don't use CO2. I already have the bottle hooked up and lines run for the sprayer so I was thinking about adding the intake cooler as well since it wouldn't be difficult to hook up. I will definitely be doing a water/meth eventually and hopefully a wet nitrous system.

I think you 'll get more bang for your buck w/ water/meth. And if your using it at the drag strip, I'd spray NO2 were it counts.

I mentioned that I'll be doing both of those as well eventually.
