Craven speed pulley

Can anyone tell me if the Craven 15% reduction pulley works well, and if it has a lip on it that helps prevent the belt from walking off? if there is a better pulley that can be suggested, please do tell.

Craven and Spark Plugs

Did you need to go to a spark plug that was one grade cooler?

For a 15% you can run regular plugs. I know many folks that are using stock with no problems.

If the pulley is aligned properly, you shouldn't have to worry about the belt walking off. Both stock and -1 ranges work fine - the best choice for you depends on your driving habits.

Might also depend on what gas you use. I've got stock plugs and generally use Arco gas, I get pinging under heavy loads. I am currently running Chevron to see what happens with the pinging. My long term solution will be colder plugs (Brisk).

Had ours for a year now with no problems and it does fine with the stock plugs. Nice improvement!

Minibiker-

Our stainless steel pulleys do not have a lip, but if you request a black pulley, it will have the lip.

Mine just came in. Yahoooo. Went to get the belt today that's a tad shorter, plus the Iridium plugs one step cooler. Will do this Saturday early AM.

I got it down to about 1.5 providing that I have the tools ready. For someone that hasn't done it, give yourself 3 + hours.

Uhh you really need to go to a colder grade least i did with the 15%
I mean you can run it but I found the car alot smoother and more driveable with the Brisk cold plugs.
Just my personal deal you know?
the cravin is a good pulley i know danny from mini corsa reccomends it.
I personaly have the Alta V1 and dont have much of an issue with it.

Metric hex, cross tip screws and special tools (jack stands/puller and such).
