12 MPG at the track sounds to high, 6 MPG sounds to low. We would get about 14 MPG in a Miata running a 2 mile track. 2300 pounds, caged, Hoosiers, suspension, etc.... I cant see a 3000+ pound Mini getting 12 MPG at any track.
Ah darn, I wanted to see how many more times I could get him to wink at me.

I usually get about 9 MPG with my #848 R53 on the courses around here. I got about 8 MPG with my turbo MINI [much more efficient, but much more power too], and an amazing 10 MPG with a stock R56. As always, YMMV! I think the track has a big impact on the economy you get; most courses I go to don't have huge straightaways, focusing instead on lots of technical corners and quick 1/4 mile straights.

Motor On,
Ryan
