Drivetrain HKS Super SQV Blow-off Valve
HKS Super SQV Blow-off Valve
I was lurking around and saw this Bov for the R56 models
and JSCspeed hook me up with one right away, in black, which is the only color I would gone with. I looked further and found a video of the valve at work... and one more here with tubes from exhaust depot which is just down the street from me so I will see if I can have it done soon..
Mean while the BoV will be a subject for pictures...It looks really nice.

Look up, I have included links to video and sound
To each its own. There is already people with it so first would be a bit difficult at this point. The video on the link above sounds nice to my ears...maybe to loud for others.

Being loud or loudest its irrelevant, if I do not like it i will take it off. But thank you for pointing out the noise level. Loudest! Umm might be an added safety feature, others will hear me coming.
Psst! Psst! The FORGE on Zero7 sounds good...At first I was worry about the noise, but now is symphonic..

Take a good look at the BOV, if you notice every other screw is recessed in . If you remove the higher screws the housing will come off. You can then remove that plastic delta looking piece. This will change sound the ssq is known for and give you a more conservative sound.
Also if you notice the purple little piece, that valve comes off the seat under low boost conditions. Under heavy loads the black portion that says SSQ comes off the seat. So you have to valves there.
im getting one for sure but u hav to block off the stock blow off valve but when u do that the ECU will go crazy.
so i dont really know what to do -_-
You will either have to drill and tap your intake manifold with the proper fitting, or purchase the ATP Vacuum/Boost Source Adapter which will install underneath your stock MAP sensor and give you a pressure source for your BOV.

I too just purchased the HKS SQV Limited Black Edition for my R56. The shop just took measurements for fabricating the S/S hose (will powder coat it black). Should be ready in a few days.
Since you purchased the HKS kit, would you mind sharing the installation instructions? Thanks. Also, where and how did you tap the vacuum hose to?
Cheers.
