Another Seattle Tune???

Do to the success and great results during the last RMW tune session at the Speed Factory in Tacoma Washington and the growing interest in tunes in our area, I feel it is necessary to help setup another RMW tune event.

Many of the tunes revealed how the RMW mods do on the dyno so I am sure there has been interest and more modding in our area which necessitates a tune to make it complete! Jan recommends to have a tune done for any combination of mods and I can't express how true and important that is. For those who missed the last one pull up any tune results and see the great gains and praises. Lets start putting together a list and a date

-Clint

There is already 6 on the list at psmini.org with a few on the fence. Lets get this going with the Portland group maybe?

I'm down in Eugene, OR. I'd love to go to PDX or Seattle for a Jan tune. Count me in!

I'm down - I'll bring the 72. I'd love to see what Jan can do with a Weber

Very interested, but what is the cost?

Also, anyone know who can install RMW head/cam and injectors in Portland?

Thanks.

Cost (assuming he hasn't raised prices) would be $350 for the tune and dyno time @ $100/hour, figure 100-150 for the dyno time. Definetly the best bang for the buck (after a supercharger reduction pulley).

Do we have any firm commitments from anyone on NAM yet? We are getting real close to hitting the numbers.

I'm firmly getting in on the dyno day. No tune to happen per se but I would like to dyno the beast and hang out with some Mini peeps. Of course this is all pending the weather cooperating...

Put me down as a definite yes. I would love to be there. Not to far into the winter would be best so I don't have the winter tires on.
I did the pulley and exhaust this summer and the RMW tune is probably the best thing I could get next.

You only want 125? If that's all you wanted, you should have just got the cooper s without mods.

You can count me as committed too. My only thing would be the timing as I'm driving up from Eugene. Would it be on a Friday or Saturday? Or are you thinking mid-week?

That seems like a much better, understandable goal.

Dinan604 might need to change his name to RMW604 after the tune
