Emailed the PDX club president last week. Asked him to post the link to the psmini site thread; he said he would pass it on to the webmaster. Several days passed, I emailed again because I did not see it on the PDX site. Sent an email asking if there was any interest, and was told that there wasn't.

What sort of time frame looking at for this?

Don't be too thrown off by me being in Hawaii, I'm headed that direction (everett) come mid/late October. Funny thing is that I just emailed Jan to see if I could ship my car through his shop on the way to WA. Maybe if things work out I'll just wait till he comes up there???

That is a lot of freakin tunes for a 2nd session only 3 months later Jan and the guys at SpeedFactory are going to be sick of Minis for the weekend! He did 23 last time. We should bring more snacks and drinks this time. It was fun just to hang out and chat.

Oh and Jan, don't stay in Kent this time!

BTW, (-Me) on the list is ClintTheMiniOwner =)

Just talked to Jan and then James from Speed Factory... James said pick a weekend that works for Jan. So Jan, pick a date! James and us are waiting

Since James has a race at the end of the month, he cannot schedule a date untill after the end of septmber. So we need a date anytime after that.

Update....sorta

Talked to James at SpeedFactory a few minutes ago. He has talked to Jan and they are still trying to figure out which Friday/Saturday or maybe even Thursday/Friday/Saturday in October will work for both of them.
James said he would call me tomorrow with an actual date.
As for the cost of the dyno time, it is $90 hr. James said to plan for 1-1/2 to 2 hours per car. Some cars are easy, others...not so much.
Jeff2 from psmini has offered to cater the event for a cost of $7 per person. He will need to know a week in advance how many people are coming.

Well, the problem with catering, is that the caterer will have to be there for three long days! Im cool with that but perhaps a potluck idea is best?
Looking forward to this event. I cant wait to see what a cam and header swap do for me...

I think what jeff has in mind is more along the lines of really good snacks, rather than chafing dishes. He said he would get back to me with details later.
Oh, and you have another PM.

I assume this place has a dynopack? I've tried looking it up online, but I can not find what kind of dyno they have.

NP. I'd been having issues with my browser not loading NAM correctly, and I was curious if I'd missed it. I'm just excited about getting my car tuned.

Thank you for your response. I look forward to meeting some of you when this happens.

Texas tuning, Florida tuning and now Seattle tuning

looks like Texas and Seattle is full so Florida may have to give up their date

Who's breaking the news to FL? Is this a suggestion to Florida or the way it has to be?
How late in advance can I order the header & cam before the tune?

I talked to Jan about 2 hours ago.
He said nothing is set yet.
He is working on making changes to his schedule and wants the opportunity to make those changes with with all parties before any announcements are made.
Ssssshhhhhhhh.....

Hey now, I too am into it, I am just being pacient! haha

Actually, I hope it isnt that early in oct. My car is having some over heating issues, which I think I have figured out, but may not be healthy enough for the tune. Here is to hoping!
