If he was going the herd direction, he would have copied a header design and sold it for cheaper. (no one does that though.....)

So either;

A) You can get fleas working on cars in Santa Cruz or

B) Nitro is again questioning the intelligence of the NAM community.

How about I rearrange that quote a bit...

"Never blindly point fingers (especially when uninformed) at other companies and accuse their customers of having fleas!"

BTW, what mythology is it that is being blindly accepted? Is it the mythology that R & D on products should be done with a dyno and the product that shows the best gain both overall and or in the desired area of the powerband is the one that you should continue with? Or is it that you should use an MSD coil even though it will have no effect on your engine because it works 100x better on an oscillator? Next you will be saying that the OBX header is X times better because of it's performance qualities on a flowbench.

lol El_Griton caLL MOSS MINI 1-800-895-2471

Mention this post LOL LOL . Be informed that I talked with them. They have no patent or TM on this discontinued product. There quote "we have no intention on ever making this product again. If you can find someone that has one feel free to duplicate. If you like we will do a minimum production run of 50 for you at the $... " The little things that are assumed LOL
I do in fact make many of my own products that really work! LOL Try again with your empty acquisitions and thanks for the promo on the oil adapter. Got one from a NAM member and presently improving the COBAT design. In the end it will be very little of the original piece once offered from MOSS MINI COBALT manufacturing. You see the adapter was not designed for an MSC mine will be.

And for the MODERATOR please see that he opened this acquisition up for a promo not me.

Hey I think I said that I have never posted my numbers?

You really think I want to begin to defend a Dyno run on my MINI with hard bunch? No way!

Thank you I use a D-pic. It may interest you to know that if you calibrate it correctly it is within 1-3 % of being accurate. I have use it often to do a fast test on many changes I make to my Mini which includes header modification. It is a handy tool and less then doing a Dyno run with each modification.
D-pic.

Well I must say at least if you do go into production with this piece that you would actually be contributing something positive to the Mini community. A difference to what you have done in this thread at least...

G-Tech
http://www.gtechpro.com/
So what is it? you run a autometer d-pic or you run a g-tech and don't tell me you run both cuz I'm gonna have to rofl all over my apt!! And as far as calibrating again which are you referring to g-tech or d-pic?? Secondly, I'm not gonna argue that a G-Tech will most definitely show improvements from a modification. That I'm sure it can do. Do a 1/4 mile run while measuring (g-tech) hp stock then throw a 15% pulley on and do it again and you can be sure the numbers will be lower....well lower 1/4 time higher hp. as far as being 1-3% accurate...accurate from what? a dyno? I dont know about that. I have a gtech ss and last time I ran a 1/4 mile run with hp it told me i had around 145 hp. Then I went on a Dyno Dynamics (which runs acceptably lower than other dynos) and the car put out 166 so what gives? That seems like a pretty big difference. But I guess you're just gonna respond that I didn't "calibrate it correctly" right?? Lets see.....

Maybe it's me, but it seems like your insulting/offending the very people your products target. That doesn't make good business sense. Having a good product is only part of running a successful business...people also have to want to deal with you. I have to say, you don't sound like someone I'd want to do business with.

If he is smart, he will hide the name of his business! I can tell you right now that even if he was selling good parts at the cheapest prices, based on the his posts in this thread and the MSD thread alone, I would go elsewhere.

And that would be your opinion and your choice. I do not do any production runs of anything for Mini's. While I am not touring the country to make a statement I never did plan on getting rich working on or selling Mini parts. There are a couple of members on this very thread can tell you that.

To stay close to the topic of this thread: if There were an spin on adapter that would work on MSC it would also benefit MSC with headers. Even the ones with exhaust port issues.

Vernon29RW perhaps you may want to consider reading your directions on your G-tech again. While I can not say for sure unless I look it up but I think it uses an accelerometer to measure with. This type of monitoring device uses REAL world values to give it readings. The devises measure what is called DYNAMIC WHEEL HORSEPOWER. This is the factors that a Chassis Dyno can not duplicate. So the readings of WHP would in fact be lower with a chassis dyno. If you can do simple math you can estimate the difference based on your best Chassis Dyno figure against a controlled G-tech figure and most likely see a 1-3 % difference. So when checking how a header make a difference a G-tech or D-pic is a much cheaper method to check the improvements.
I use a D-pic and it does need to be calibrated.

I have requested that a Moderator respond to your comment.
And what if any does this have to do with this thread that you and others keep bringing up?
BTW
MSD I believe was looking at becoming an advertiser on NAM/ALLIANCE. I know that they did in the magazine MC2. Perhaps after reading the great responses to there products I guess Mark and Nathan would know that?
